«That isn’t just in City Hall. It’s a shame that in 2021, the City Hall press corps is overwhelmingly White in a city where more than half of the city identifies as Black, Latino, AAPI or Native American.»

«I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character», from the great “I have a Dream” speech. In other words, I am not sure that this is the way.

Our politicians do not “govern” anymore. EVERYTHING that comes out of their mouth is meant for the Media. They are in campaign mode at all times 24/7. Everything is a photo-op or a fund raiser.
Our officials need to just do their JOBS, and stay away from the media.
Unless a person is discussing official business, there is no reason to talk to them. Do your damn jobs. Campaign on your own time. You do NOT have to talk to anyone, get back in your damn office and WORK.
